The purpose of the Environmental Education Mini-Grant Program is to educate youth of the Clarkston Community Schools about conservation, earth science, biology plant science, and the environment through the following:
· Provide opportunities to enhance and develop innovative approaches to teaching which stimulate creative thought and expand the curriculum
· Enrichment in the classroom or in extracurricular activities related to conservation, earth science, plant science and the environment.
All current teachers and media specialists of the Clarkston Community Schools may apply. Each applicant may submit a total of one proposal per year, either individually or in conjunction with other applicants.
